Restore Wiki Procedure

  1. [Firefox] Download the latest version of the Wiki software.
  2. [Zeus] Extract to a temp directory and rename root directory to Wiki.
  3. [Zeus] Compare wiki\conf with new wiki and copy/merge
    1. acl.auth.php
    2. local.php
    3. users.auth.php
  4. [Zeus] Copy wiki\data\attic from back up to new wiki.
  5. [Zeus] Copy wiki\data\media from back up to new wiki.
  6. [Zeus] Copy wiki\data\meta from back up to new wiki.
  7. [Zeus] Copy wiki\data\pages from back up to new wiki.
  8. [Zeus] Copy wiki\lib\tpl\TaGu from back up to new wiki.
  9. [Zeus] Copy wiki\lib\plugins\term from back up to new wiki. This plugin can not be installed automatically.
  10. [Zeus] Delete all .listing files from new wiki.
  11. [Zeus] Delete wiki\install.php.
  12. [Firefox] Download the latest version of the Comment Plugin (this plugin can not be added automatically).
  13. [Zeus] Extract to a temp directory and rename root directory to Comment.
  14. [Zeus] Copy to the wiki\lib\plugins directory in the new wiki.
  15. [FileZilla] Rename /wiki to /wikiold_20110402.
  16. [FileZilla] Create /wiki.
  17. [FileZilla] Upload new wiki to /wiki.
  18. [Internet Explorer] Go to the wiki and log on as admin.
  19. [Internet Explorer] Go to Admin → Manage Plugins and install the following plugins:
    1. OpenOffice.org Export
    2. Pagelist Plugin
    3. Searchindex Manager
    4. Tag Plugin
    5. Editx Plugin
  20. [Internet Explorer] Go to Admin → Searchindex Manager → Rebuild index.
  21. [Internet Explorer] Go to Admin → Tagindex Manager → Rebuild index.
  22. [FileZilla] Delete everything in /wiki/data/cache except the _dummy file.
  23. [Firefox] Verify the following plugins work:
    1. Comment Plugin. Verify there is nothing after this line.
    2. OpenOffice.org Export. Click the Export to ODT button and verify it works.
    3. Pagelist Plugin. FIXME Add test procedure.
    4. Tag Plugin. FIXME Add test procedure.
    5. Term Plugin. Go to the Blood Tests page and verify the terms work.
  24. [Firefox] Verify search works (including private pages).
  25. [Firefox] Verify old revisions work and page comparison.
  26. [Firefox] Verify editing a page and previewing an edited page works.
