Start Procedure
Note 1: Trimmer will not start with choke on (up).
Note 2: Turn choke off (down) as soon as it starts.
- Switch on handle to '1'.
- Choke on full (up).
- Pull on starter, 3 or 4 times or until it splutters.
- Choke on half.
- Pull on starter, 3 or 4 times or until it starts.
- Choke off (down).
- Pull on starter.
- If it won't start, try opening the throttle.
Head Disassembly
- Remove the Line Squisher Screw with Allen key - standard thread.
- Remove the line.
- Insert a grunty screwdriver through line holes in part A.
- Use vice grips with inner tube on part B.
- Unscrew part A from part B - reverse thread.
- Remove part A.
- Insert Allen key through the hole in cap, through part C, and into the bit inside to prevent part C from turning.
- Unscrew locking nut inside part B - reverse thread.
- Remove locking nut and washer.
