CV Conversion Process

  1. Save in docx format.
  2. Take to work.
  3. Open in Word.
  4. Select all and set the langage to English (New Zealand).
  5. Fix the bullet points:
    1. Find the first one.
    2. Put the cursor on the first line.
    3. Click the Bullets button twice - once to remove the crap bullets and once more to apply the default bullets.
    4. Right click the line and select Paragraph…
    5. Set the following values in the Indentation section:
      • Left: 0.06 cm
      • Right: 0.01 cm
      • Special: Hanging
      • By: 0.36 cm
    6. Click Ok.
    7. Copy the style (Ctrl + Shift + C).
    8. Paste the style to all the other bullets (Ctrl + Shift + V).
  6. Project Example: PR&D Application Enhancement → Fix description style.
  7. Check spelling and grammar.
  8. Save as doc format.
